Cookie Policy

Last updated 4 October 2026

This notice explains what cookies are and which cookies and similar technologies Cambrian KlG ("Cambrian", "we") uses on www.cambrian-group.com (the "Site"), why we use them, and how you can control them.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website sends to your computer or other internet-connected device to uniquely identify your browser or to store information or settings on the device. Browsers also offer similar storage, such as local storage and session storage, which keeps information on your device without sending it over the network. We refer to all of these technologies as "cookies" in this notice.

Why do we use cookies?

We use cookies for two purposes: to make the Site function, which means remembering your cookie choice and running the opening animation only once per visit, and to perform analytics, which means understanding how the Site is used so we can improve it. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share personal data obtained through cookies.

What information do we obtain?

The strictly necessary entries described below store your consent answer and a flag for the opening animation; they identify nothing about you. If you have accepted analytics, Google Analytics processes your truncated IP address, the pages you view, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits.

What cookies are used on the Site?

Strictly necessary

These entries are required for the Site to honour your choices. They are set without consent because they store nothing but the choice itself, and asking permission to remember a refusal would make refusing impossible. They stay on your device and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Analytics

Set only after you press Accept. Nothing is requested from Google before you answer, and declining leaves the Site fully functional. Google LLC acts as our processor and may transfer data to the United States. IP addresses are truncated, and advertising and personalisation signals are switched off.

How do I manage or disable cookies?

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using Cookie Settings at the foot of every page. Withdrawing removes the analytics cookies we can reach and reloads the Site with analytics switched off. Withdrawal is as easy as consent and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

You can also restrict or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Each browser documents how:

To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, not only on this Site, you can install Google's browser add-on. Note that if your browser blocks the strictly necessary storage above, we cannot remember your answer and will ask again on each visit.

Changes to this notice

If what we use cookies for changes, we will update this notice and, where the change concerns analytics, treat any previously stored answer as expired so that you are asked again.
